Hello everybody, I'm Sarah Jane, fairly new to this site and was just perusing the forums trying to pick up some tips and tricks, ran across this thread and quite frankly I have now fallen down the rabbit hole of listening to everyone's recordings. I'm originally from the mountains of East Tennessee and I currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina and even though I still live in the deep south, apparently I don't sound like other people who live in this part of the south because every time I open my mouth somebody stares at me like I have three heads and then their question is, you're not from around here are you? Well no I'm not. I really can't tell a difference in my southern accent and anybody else's southern accent but apparently I do sound different. Anyway, just wanted to say hi y'all and bless your little hearts for making all these recordings for us to listen to. It's nice to meet you, bye!
