Those of you who know me, those of you who have read me, those of you who have followed the Bears blog on Twitter for lo these many years know I don't give a shit about the preseason. I don't care about the results, I don't care about the performance, all I care about is getting off these fields healthy. Get to week one healthy. We are seeing more and more year after year that the first four to six weeks of the regular season are effectively now the preseason. They're about figuring things out and getting as many wins as possible. Your form as an NFL team does not matter until at least Thanksgiving and more and more it's not starting to matter until the new year. However, if there's one thing the Bears can achieve Sunday night, one thing they can achieve against the Buffalo Bills, it would just be shutting out the noise and they can shut out all the noise by playing their starting offense, going down the field and scoring some points. If that offense can just go out there, look okay, run some plays, move the ball, score some points, maybe we won't have to read and look at the tired, same old, same old bullshit columns from the same writers again and again and again. Go out there and put some juice in the combust, put the fans at ease, make everybody happy and have one good drive. When you do that, I'll tell you right now, we'll be coasting to the opener against Minnesota.
