Thursday, December 11th, 2025. Week 15, unbelievably, in the NFL schedule, kicks off tonight with a terrible game between the Bucs and the Falcons. The Bucs just aren't healthy. I don't think the quarterback's healthy. The Falcons are just one of the harder watches in the league. And sadly, Raheem Morris, from everybody I know who knows him, is a great guy, but he's a terrible head coach. I thought he deserved a second chance. I'm glad that Arthur Blank gave him the second chance, but he's a terrible head coach. And that is a tricky job for someone to take this offseason because what are you doing? A quarterback? The cap is a mess. Weird veterans all over the place. I am not a fan of that Falcons job. This is a pivotal week for the Chicago Bears in 2025. And the reason for that is, this is the last advantage on the schedule. They have a Browns team at home. They are a sizable favorite. They should win that game. Green Bay goes to Denver. Detroit goes to LA. Both of those games can be losses in the NFC North. This is the last game on the schedule where the Bears could give themselves a little bit of cushion for a playoff push. It's just hard the rest of the way. Packers home, Road Niners, Lions home. I think they'll win one or two of those games. I think they'll definitely win one of them. But this is the week where they need the results to go their way. And if you are a Bears fan looking at this schedule right now, and your sights are set on the postseason, the more important loss is the Lions. I get it. I get it. The division title is there. You'd love to see the Packers lose this week and basically have a division title game almost next week at Soldier Field. But if the Packers lose and the Lions win and the Packers come to Soldier Field and win next week, this whole thing gets flipped again. If the Lions lose, the Bears would have a two-game cushion with three to play. If the Lions lose and the Bears win, the Bears' odds to make the postseason will go through the roof. That, if the playoffs are your goal, that is the more important result this week. You'd love to see them both lose. But the more important result for me is Detroit. And the game itself, I have not predicted at any point this year, the Bears winning a game in a blowout. I have not seen any game on this schedule and thought, oh, they're going to win this game by two touchdowns. I think they're going to win this game by two touchdowns. I think this is a game, if you watched Titans-Browns, and I did every damn snap of that game, the Browns' defense is leaking oil. If you block Garrett, if you block Garrett, they're beatable up and down that unit. And Tony Pollard, Tony Pollard was breaking the line of scrimmage and going for 60 seemingly on every run. This is a game where the Bears put it on the shoulders of the offensive line, put it on the backs, run for 200 yards and win the game 27-10. Win the game 24-7. Force Shadour into some mistakes. He makes them every week. He's going to make them. He's young. I think he's talented, but he's young. And this should be an environment where the Bears fan needs to treat this game with the import that it has. Soldier Field needs to be rocking on the lakefront on Sunday. Too many times these games played in Soldier Field, and there's a whole bunch of those opposing fans in the building. It can't happen this week. I can't imagine Browns fans are going to eagerly travel to Soldier Field to go see this team play. This needs to be a game where the Bears fan celebrates what these guys are achieving this year. We know the crowd will be jazzed next week for the Packers. This is just as important. Get this team. Will this team to 10 wins? They could do that Sunday. I think this is, I'll stick with that 27-10. I think this is the most comfortable win of the year, and I think it sets up a truly exciting finish. I think the Packers will win in Denver. I think the Lions will lose in L.A., and I think we're staring down a playoff hunt here in 2025. Bear down.
