What is a mask? A mask is an identity. We identify ourself with an image that does not represent our essential nature. Although this rendering may reflect what we think or how we act, it is not who we are. Our mind or ego will try to hold on to a mask to preserve self-interest or the illusion of security. But in our times, the winds of change are so powerful that masks can be blown off. As Paul Simon wrote, these are the days of miracle and wonder. The momentum of fast-paced evolution and planetary ascension is dismantling structures that no longer serve us as individuals or collective humanity. So let that mask go. You don't need it anymore. Acclimate to this transitional period as you get to know yourself in a brand new way. You may feel disoriented or frightened. You might also notice more freedom in your life, more flow and flexibility. These experiences can walk hand in hand together. Congratulations! You've clipped a link in the chain of false identity. That old mask has fallen away and you are lighter and free.
